Some very nice action there. Just shows what you can do with a 350D.
#3 works well and #5 is very dynamic too.
Next stop - a 2.8 lens to blur that background out! One cheaper improvement is to shoot from lower down as long as you've got a dark background behind (not the sky). Crouch/kneel and you'll get a more interesting shot.

Thankyou! I love my 350D, it's such a great camera. I was using a Sigma 2.8, as you can see it was a bit hit and miss with the depth of field! 
Cheers for the crouching tip, unfortunatly it's difficult as I was behind the barriers and not on the pitch, but will definitely bare it in mind
