Cowes power boat race today .. more of a practice than anything for the real thing on Sunday but interesting just the same.

300mm f2.8 on its own and with 1.7x teleconverter.

I dont like the black borders, but a good set of something different, the second is the best as its sharp and shows the action best, the rest are good and show how powerboats can be exciting but these just lack the edge, there doesnt seem to be any drama or anything happening sport wise, maybe if you have one going into a corner with another boat in shot would help

As I said .. more of a practice than anything I think. Hopefully they will be a bit more interested in racing on Sunday. They didn't seem to be very committed and half of them didnt even bother to do the return trip
