Not really into macro but had a fun hour in the garden whilst the wife prepared things for winter.

Thanks, I do like the web on the first and the bokeh circles along the web on the last are cool (don't know why they are there though!)

I guess I should have said that they are all crops from a Nikon D610 with a Tamron 90mm + 1.4x Kenko TC with SB400 doing lighting duties. The TC puts the minimum focal length beyond the shadow of the flash/lens so was all rather simple.

edit: if anyone can ID the first one I'd like to know.

The first one is a long jawed orb weaver.

Nice set composition is good on all and focus from what I can tell.

The last one is something different which is good. Preparing for winter? Where do you live?

Thanks for the comments and ID, I spent ages trawling the web (pun intended ) with no luck.

In sunny Hampshire but it does feel like it's about to turn...
