A first for me! A woodlark

That's really nice. Perhaps a small tone-down of the background would help to bring the bird to more prominance, but it's only a niggle. Don't think I've ever seen one of these.(y)
 
Is that recent in the UK? Seems very early to be feeding young?
 
Excellent shot Kev, nice and low. Not much you could have done with the bright background at the time you shot this, but is there any way you could tone it down a little in PP? i think it would make a nice difference
 
Cracking little bird, ive only seen one on a trip to see Stone curlew which was a bit disappointing, but got more pleasure on seeing a Woodlark feeding just in front of me.
