Number 4 looks best, that vintage look.

I have an image from a scan of an airshow the wife attended in the 80s where I couldn't recover enough detail from the scan to make it worth using, however, making it look very old actually made it presentable!

The exact opposite of course with your excellent image which was distressed just to see the end result, way over the top tbh!
