A Tale Of Two Robins

Well 3 really!

My sister very kindly gave me her Nikon 70-300 lens from her 35mm the other day and I had a go with it today.
It won't auto focus on my D40 and seeings I was shooting hand held, I'm very pleased with the results.

Robin 3 or the nearly shot...Just needed to be in focus and some snow!

thanks mate, I'm pretty chuffed with it.
I'm buying a AF 300mm this weekend though...Miss too many good oportunities in the time it takes to manual focus.
