A record shot is an image that records something as it is at that time, it has very little, if any additional merit to someone else, it's nicely exposed but other than that does not have a lot going for it. If you did not own the treehouse would you want the image on your wall?
If there was some dramatic lighting, or something different about it, then maybe.
By responding to unanswered posts it brings it back to the foreground (pun intended) and may encourage others to make their own comments.
