Felt like i needed a walk after work today, so drove to Ogwen and walked up the side of the afon lloer

or "Parc Cenedlaethol Eryri" to give it its full Welsh title. I think traditionally Eryri referred to the mountainous "core" including Yr Wyddfa, Tryfan and the Glyderau, but it now seems to have expanded to include the whole of the National Park.

Personally, I find the photograph too dark......

Understandable, but i thought the reflected light on the rocks made up for the darker areas in the shadows.

The Glyderau looked like that the first time I walked them. Navigating my way down was fun...
