is it the makeup or are the model's eyes too heavily post-processed?
 
she looks very pretty.

smile and pose seems natural.

only real comments are cropping off part of her head is distracting but I would be very pleased with that shot.

just curious as to what the colour looks like.

It's a well taken shot. I'm not sure about the pose though - it doesn't look entirely natural and the shoulder bone and the angle of it makes the shoulder too prominent and distracting.

I think I prefer the colour version, maybe give it a sharpen as well? :)

Nice shot though!
 
Cheers Betty I think the version I had printed for her was sharper I just found the first copy and put it up
 
I like the colour one too but the mono does look sharper. I think I prefer the colour as the lighting is well balanced and skin tones even.

no real criticisms in my opinion. :)
