Another go at Sunday footie

Hi all, I went out for another go at football this morning. Not the same pitch but same problems, anything but flat and about 1/4 size. Still I tried to capture more of the action this time - be interest to hear if you folks think I'm getting any better?

I like 'em. You've captured the high points of the action and kept the ball in shot which always helps with these pics. Nice and sharp too.

They're cracking shots, 1,5,6 and 7 being my favs - be interested in what lens and settings you used as you seem to have got it spot on!

John, settings were ISO400, 70-200, AV mode @ f/4. AI Servo with all focus points active, H mode burst. Last time I shot footie I found I was waiting too long to shoot and missed the action, this time I seemed to anticipate better and stayed with the ball rather than the players.
