Arun Valley, Sussex

Whilst out birding down the Arun Valley in Sussex I decided to get a few shots of the Southern units travelling along this scenic line. Not my usual fare as I spend my working life driving trains, but sometimes a nice distraction. Got lucky with one, as it was in the special Thank You NHS colours applied during the covid crisis. As I only had my 150-600mm lens it was a bit difficult to get a wide view, handy for the NHS unit though.

I spent 19 years driving up and down the Arun Valley, now I go north up to Peterborough, totally different scenery but still as good in it's own way
