Aurora Tree

I took this a couple of nights ago when I set out with the intention of trying to shoot some star trails. Having set the camera up it became clear that what I thought was light pollution from the local recycling plant was actually something a bit more exciting. I got a couple of record shots of the Aurora but high clouds soon meant a lack of definition even though the colours showed through so I thought I'd try a silhouette of this fabulous beech tree.
