Bee (is in flight, hard to see) & hovers

Bit of warmer spell this afternoon - encouraged a few flyers back to the garden - grabbed some, but room for improvement. A bee in flight is still hard to get right though - practically beaten again here, but it is in flight in the first image...

Fantastic shots mate and congrats on the Honey in flight. Looks like we both had a bit of luck with those :D

Love the light coming through the poppy.
 
Cheers Ian. Would have been happier if there had been a bit of wing on the bee in #1, but it's in mid air and the wings must be at the one angle that the camera wasn't able to see them!

#2 - I like the busyness of the bee - right in there, head in as far as it can go, and yes the orange gives a good contrast.

The other two are OK (but Supe on DF said the last hover was looking into the fuchsia...) ;)

Awesome shots.
I don't like #1 though as it's cruel pulling the bees wings off and sticking it to the flower :thinking: - absolutely stunning
