I like the idea, but I think the background detracts from the overall image. It's not central, I think a nice plain white or blue background would have looked good here

I quite like it, but agree that the background does make it look a bit... Odd.

I think its a great idea, but I find the background slightly distracting.
Also, the stem is in perfect focus, but the drops appear slightly out of focus.
