First time showing any pics, so here we go.

First two shot with my OM1, others with my D40.

Hadn't shot any action stuff before these, so they're not brilliant.

Trying to guess the locations of the first 2 pics. #1 is Innerliethen right? And is #2 Kinnoul Hill at Perth? Used to race both tracks myself, but gave up DH a while ago. And I moved away from Edinburgh

Anyway - #2 is best for me - the outdoor shots work best for me because I find the flash is a little overpowering in the indoor photos...

There's some interesting shots there. Lots of variation and in my personal taste some work and some don't. But the 'don'ts' are just a personal thing.

The flash and the red of the bike in the last looks a little overcooked. The other ones indoors just feel a little cramped or closed in on the rider :shrug: if you see what I mean.

I luurrve #2. Great scale and feeling of height / speed. Wouldn't look out of place in Dirt magazine!

Very good for a first try. Nice work! #2 looks top to me and the rest are pretty cool too, though the subject in the 1st is a tad on the small side.

#2 is great
#4 looks as though the table isn't done to perfection :bonk: or maybe was caught too late or too early.
all a great bunch of photos though

Definitely like 2 best, although it could *maybe* do with something to bring the rider out just a little bit. The indoor ones are a bit busy for my liking, and the flash is a bit too powerful

I like your 2nd shot!! great motion with strong atmosphere!! A touch of light on his helmet helped diverting me to the rider!!
