I think this is the lesser spotted Swallowtail. These are seen in Africa but I took this photo when it made a rare appearance in Spain.
Some people can't distinguish it from the foliage it rests on, but looking carefully it is possible to see it's Swallowtail & large crested head. It has 2 long legs ideal for wading & whilst resting on one leg (similar to a Flamingo) it can telescope the second leg into it's body. It has a distinctly silent call similar to wind rushing.
