Binned an old PC and moved some pics over to an external hard drive.

The river Tay at Newburgh has the largest reed beds for Marsh harriers in the UK. I drew a blank this day so found other things to shoot.

This boat caught my eye. 40D and kit lens in chilly winter conditions.

Looking back the composition in number 2 bugs me but from memory there was other stuff I was trying to keep out of the frame.

My Springer Spaniel was in and out of the water after the ducks so these took a fair amount of patience.;)

3 and 5 work for me , very nicely captured

Cheers Allen

I walk the dogs there and must take the camera again next time it's a still day.

I may have a go at some mono versions when I get the time.

They all work really well, All except the one with the outboard in my opinion..

It somehow seems to remove the serenity of the image.. The others are wonderful.

3 has the most impact
the outboard motor in some respects conflicts with the peace of no 2 which for me would have been a winner
cheers
geof

Cheers folks

I agree about the outboard motor. It was actually the motor which made me look for some alternative framings.
