I was browsing ebay, like you do, and saw this:
http://www.eboboo.com/html/bms_setup_example.html
Now I am not considering one, I just clicked the link as I was curious.
Now it has me curious as to whether anyone (I suppose, anyone normally able, if I am able to say that without causing offence), actually uses one of these and finds it of benefit.
You see, to me, I would think that although it is an interesting idea, it would likely be uncomfortable and get in the way.
Not saying that it wouldn't be the same if you were not fully able, but perhaps the ability to rest the camera etc. would bypass what a monopod would be used for etc.
Would this be useful for someone with arthritis? I am not seeing that the benefits would be that large, as it would still be difficult to use the release mounts etc.
Sorry if my terminology offends anyone.
