Thanks for looking

Really like that 3rd shot and the first is good too.

2 would have been better without the tog and perhaps more focussed on the lead car.

5 is just too soft and not sure about the slopey ones.

 Nos 1 and 3 are absolute crackers for me- they really catch the atmosphere at Oulton, and are satisfactorily sharp against a nicely blurred ground- excellent.

Thanks for the comments I agree about 2, with 5 its really difficult to get both in focus with the different angle and the speed difference. To be honest it was hard enough just to get the front one in focus. Thanks for the comments about 1 and 3. trying to be a little different with them.

Am I right in thinking these were all taken from the spectator enclosures?

If so 2 and 3 aren't easy to get right so for that reason I like them a lot.

always avoid getting people with bald patches in your shots.. sounds silly, but i'm serious.
if you see anything distracting along the edge of your photo, toilet, marshall, bald patch, ambulance, try to find a better angle or crop it out.
cant always do it, but when you can it works much better :)

cheers Gary thanks for that. I have not seen that advice anywhere, I will avoid the bald patch in future, thanks for commenting
