Another trip to Brownsea yesterday and with the lack still of birds up close, I spent another couple of hours with the red squirrels. This time I mainly got him to pose on the ground rather than on stumps and i found a perfect place between two trees with moss between as shown in the first shot
All with 70-200 f 2.8 and 1.4x

Another who likes them and some very good images here too - had a great time watching a few yesterday and have only just realised that although 'red' they have a silver sheen to the fur.
