Cake looks great. Don't suppose there is any left now !!!

I agree the third image looks best. You can see the texture of the sponge and you've got more light on the jam which makes it look very appetizing.

Thank you Bob and thank you Gary, I appreciate the feedback! I pushed the ISO up for the third image as it was getting towards the evening. The fact that you find it appetizing makes me happy as that was my main goal. No sorry, I'm afraid there's none left, it was rather scrumptious. :)

I'd buy my wife a Manfrotto tripod if it helped her make cake like that too !
Third shot for me as well, it looks lovely.
 
Thanks Paul. Lol, yes, the tripod helped but fortunately the cake didn't taste like carbon fibre. :p
