Just picked a brand new 60mm Macro from Comet in Dundee, it was priced at £293 but had £50 off so was £243.

They also had a 55-250 IS for £184.
 
Unfortunately these are not listed online, and knowing my local branch they won't have them in stock (they appear to have NO stock on anything these days :( ) but I'll pop by this evening just in case. I've been after a macro for a little while now :)
 
Yeah it might have been a store promotion in dundee, i might have got the last one as well but you can never tell with comet.
 
as predicted not a thing :(

didn't even stock a canon lens!!!! only tamron, rather suprising considering the range of canon bodies
