Can't decide which looks better...

Some castle windows taken in the autumn but can't decide what works better colour or black and white...what do you guys think?

The first shot seems to work around the glow and warmth of the light so I'd go colour on that one. The second is more about the textures of the layers leading to the outside and looks better in B&W to me.

I would agree with that number 1 colour number 2 b&W
just out of interest what does number 2 look like in sepia?

No1 but a tighter crop around the window sill shame the outside is too bright and blown out
