Centenary "Scotsman".

The most famous steam locomotive in the world is celebrating it's 100th birthday this year and here it is running light engine to the National Railway Museum in York.

Here's a full programme of tours and visits for the year should anyone want to catch a view of this icon of steam days.

Great shot Swiss Toni. I'm looking forward to seeing her several times this year. The first opportunity for me will be April 30th - Royal Duchy from Bristol TM to Par & return.

had a look at the 10th June as it will be coming into Chester so not too far away, pity they wont give you times for departures and arrivals etc due to "public safety"

I'm in Frodsham, so will have to do a bit of research for a decent viewpoint to catch her on the way to and from Chester

Shame the 30th is a Sunday - if it was a Tuesday or Thursday, we'd probably see it from the g*lf course!
