Can anyone recommend a cheap, powerful manual flashgun that is compatible with the YongNuo RF-602 triggers and for Canon? I dont mind 2nd hand, hopefully under £50.
I use the Cactus KF-36 flashguns. They sync fine with 602's on my D90 @ 1/200th.
As i understand they are excactly the same as the old Vivitar 285's that the likes of Zack Arias always raved about. I think the Vivitar factory was bought out and the Cactus range started.
You can buy them on ebay from Hong Kong straight from gadget infinity for about £60.
They are reliable but if you need them to work on full power you'll be waiting 6-8 seconds for recycling. If working at 1/2th or below it's fine with a new set of batteries.
