Tested out my new 50mm f1.4 pentax on the K20d.
Can anyone see anything wrong with this picture or is it my eyes playing trickes on me?

What tricks do you think your eyes are playing on you?

Personally i think the picture is in focus well and cannot see anything wrong with it.
 
Subjects Skin Tones.

i can see a hair at the top to the right of the tree :shrug:
 
A slight pinky/red tone to the skin - under the eyes/wrist/fingertips? :shrug:

Bingo, so its not just my eyes.
Any ideas what is causing it?

CA? :shrug: (Chromatic aberration.) Sorry not an expert on this at all, but it looks like the kind of "purpley/fringy" effect I'd expect from CA. Usually expect to see it on cheaper lenses though...

I'm sure someone will have a better explanation! :)

the only thing i see wrong is the skin tones... was it cold? he looks rather cold? or could the white ballence be off?
 
Going to put this down to some weird lighting as i have another of him but turned slightly to the left and there is no sign of it.
