Ah Chris, you're the modern day Johnny Morris! :D

And how many times have you been told not to wear the red suit whilst visiting the cheetahs (and where did you get the reindeer)? ;)

Thanks Simon :)

LOL thanks Marc, (I think :D)

BUGGER I forgot again :(
As for the reindeer, they were just grazing by the fence, they looked bored so I opened the gate.
And they followed me. I thought they'd appreciate the walk TBH :D

Great set, I've been trying to convince the wife to take the kids to the zoo so I can have some practice before the mad mentalist meet.

Love the baby panda, as you know its a love hate relationship with them hating me!

But the cheetah is a magical shot, can't think how you managed to avoid all the fencing around them so big :clap::clap::clap: (y)

Cheers Bryn, much appreciated. (y)
But just to annoy you a little more,
the baby Panda was on the ground for quite awhile I got loads of shots :D

The Cheetah, I'll let you into a little secret if you promise not to repeat it,
just between you and me OK? ( :D )

The head shot was quite close to the glass, shoot "wide open", and bye bye background.

The Cheetah rock shot, when they get up there,
(you only have to ask them nicely and they pose like that. Rather like the Pandas TBH :D )
Kneel down, and the fence is obliterated by the rock ;)

Soppy bloody lion. I just wanna rub his belly....

Nice set Chris
Throw it half a donkey (or red meat of your choice) and I'm sure it'd let you :D

Cheers Mike (y)

I didn't realised they were breeding there as well (y)

There's 2 at Drusillas too.
There was an appeal on the news for people to donate fresh bamboo!

Thanks for the likes guys :)

The light and sky back drop really make 1, it could be the wilds. Lovely feeling to that shot.
Cheers Steve I appreciate you taking the time to drop by (y)

3 laws of breeding anything,
Forward planning, forward planning and forward planning :D

But cool they do seem to breed readily nowadays :)

............ooops

Forgot....Lovely set as usual Chris :)

Lovely set as usual Chris (y)
Went to see the other Red Panda shots on your flickr page, but was more struck by the (what I've since discovered are) Genets from Wingham. I've not seen those before :)

The Genets, yeah there was a pair IIRC.
They were out and about, but as you can see,
like a lot of stuff that day, they refused to move away from the background :(

Just superb as always and the captions take it up a notch. Bravo sir

.DAVID.

Fantastic set Chris, and great captions as usual, I haven't been able to log-in for a while with isp probs, all sorted now hopefully! :)
