I wasn't sure which one I prefer. Both shot on a little Fuji X20 with a 250 Raynox and Flash.

I prefer #1 lighting is very good on it.

Plus it looks like a spider on the bottom on the leaf but in #2 you can see it is the leaf.

The lighting on both of them was from my Nikon flash on the hotshoe, and would you believe diffused by a polystyrene plate with a hole cut through it and mounted between the Raynox lens and it's adapter. The normal diffuser that I made was too long for this little camera.

I'm very new to the Macro/Close Up side of photography so any comments from you more experienced guys is always welcome, but I'm slowly getting there.
