Common Darter just emerged

was amazing to watch it emerge and spread its wings
from our garden wildlife pond , the dragonflies have done really well this year

Well spotted and captured Pete, I've only ever seen it once near my pond.
It still amazes me how anything that big can fit inside such a small cocoon.
