Cheers Ryan, old sea fishing hooks from a trip to the coast many years ago. Came in handy for this weeks subject.
 
Straight - lovely pic, I like the perspective
Bent - agreed with a good set up & nice lighting for it

I agree with the familiarity but I think there are lot of bridges that look like this one. Ticks the box nicely.
 
Yup that works!

Being slightly sad about such things, there something funny with the brickwork on the RHS of the arch itself. Funny, but not in a good way.

Thanks all, I have posted an image of this bridge before, further back prior to the Spring growth and on a dull day.
Time and options meant I returned to a favourite spot this week. Yes that brickwork does look a bit unhealthy on the RHS.
 
Week 21 Weather. I had 4 shots I really liked for this week, first the post and then the others.

Bent - Well lit with a nice black background and definitely minimalist. I might have given it a little more room at the top to emphasise the fact that it's hanging.
Arches - Fits the bill and some interesting detail.
Weather - Some good shots, I get why you picked the first one with the bright clouds, but personally I think the wedge of sky in the fourth is really striking.
 
Your chosen one is nice, but I too would have gone with the final one. I would have flipped it Left - Right and cropped a bit off the top.

But your chosen shot is a lovely scene

Thanks chaps and I agree about the 4th image, I was really pleased with the way it came out and I could have easily pick that as the first one too.

Agreed about #4 but the chosen shot has better light and colour for me.
 
WEATHER: I think I prefer your chosen one, though I'm torn between that and 4 for composition.

Where I think 4 loses out slightly is that it's not contrasty enough for me. I do like B&W images (whether they're mine or someone else's) to have a real dynamic range from pure black to bright white.
