Nicely composed #1, possibly could use a subtle vignette to pull attention inwards, whereas the edge vignette in the other B&W is perhaps a bit abrupt and obvious. Toning is nice in that second one though, composition-wise it is a shame that the left hand post meets the headgear rather too neatly, might have been better with the posts used as a frame.

Terry, not sure that the relatively modern headgear over Allen's Shaft is as interesting as some of the other remants here. When you go back have a look at Wheal Owles and Wheal Edward just along the cliffs, the former particularly is very photogenic.

Not sure why you didn't do the one of the Crowns engine houses in B&W too, the subject certainly suits it. There are thousands of photos from this VP, despite the rather unnerving pathway to it, and most of them are in colour. It needs something more to distinguish it. The horizon needs attention.
