I was in Vegas a few months ago and by chance they were demolishing the Boardwalk Casino. They do so many demolitons there that they have it down to a fine art and life goes on as the building comes down. I had to use a high ISO for obvious reasons. Noiseware has sorted a lot of the noise though.

nice one Steve, nice to see you back on the boards, your move to Australia went off ok then!
 
Nice to be back! Move went well. It has just turned Spring here so cant wait to get out with the camera and go silly with pics of Oz.
 
Now I'm envious - this is somethig I'd love to have a go at shooting! Good stuff!
 
Definately something you dont see often - great sequence of shots, amazing that it looks like business as usual for everyone about (y)
 
Thanks for the comments. It was pure chance that we happened to be in Vegas at the right time and in the right place. We had no idea it was going to happen until half an hour before. Although we were there to get night shots of the city it shows that it pays to have your camera with you at all times.
 
Vegas is a great city for photography. Is the Circus Circus still there? I heard that was due for demolition as it's past it's best - it was cheap to stay at though

Yeah I think it is still there. At the other end of the strip.
