Critique Distorted Tree

Bend by the prevailing winds, this Oak tree always catches my eye when walking the dogs. I made a point of crossing the field to get the reverse angle, removing the pylons...

I have a thing about trees, so your on a winner with me... I think the crop and vignetting works Ok with this centrally placed subject. Lovely shape of the tree alwasy fascinated, by the natural structuure of the branches, which are clear to see in the winter. Nice gradients of blues and purples works for me.

I can see why you are drawn to that shape. The clear sky with the bands of colour - green, purple, blue - work well with it and keep all the focus on the tree.

Lovely picture Mike, I love these weather sculptured trees, we have them all over the South Downs hear near the coast and they really do make for interesting pictures,
