I headed out for the day with my Dad for this event, chanced the showers forecast and it paid off as we only had a 20 min downpour all day, so can't complain.

I opted for the Sherwood Pines stage, quite pleased with the first lot from the tight bend, but headed deeper into the woods and struggled with harsh sunlight on one angle so had to face the opposite way for on-coming cars through the second of 2 good bends.

All images shot with Nikon D50, Sigma 70-300mm APO and Nikon 18-70mm.

Great shots. I wish i'd had known it was on this weekend as it is only a few miles from me and Inaneredstripe, could have maybe met up.

Dave: Was a good day mate, if there are any in the future you might fancy keep an eye out on the callender thread which is at the top of the Motorsports section ;)
