Eristalis pertinax (or tenax) Drone Fly

..at least I think it's the Eristalis Pertinax species, could be the tenax. Anyway, spotted this one on a shrub in the garden. Just as I was taking the shot it lifted its hind legs up for some reason. Not sure but there ya go

I like it but there's a lot of wasted space on the right. Might suit a crop?

- I would crop some off the right hand side making a square format, if it were my image :shrug: too much greenery for me & the stick or stamen intrudes on the image
