The lustre of the metal of this wonderfully engineered, German-made corkscrew - a gift from my son - caught my eye, so I photographed it, concentrating on the interesting bits. Cheers!

Makes me wanna go open a bottle right now ... in fact ... BRB ... :D

Nice shot Tony ... what setup ...

:p

Thanks V. I shoot an Oly E300. This was with the 35mm macro (that's 70mm in old 35mm money), with the Oly FL-36 dedicated flash bounced off a piece of white foamboard. The background is a piece of black vinyl that I got from a sign-maker's shop. Cheap and cheerful or what!

Regards, Tony

But effective nonetheless Tony ... thanx for the info ... I AM going to get around to experimenting with such stuff more ... seriously ... :D
