The Potentilla is blooming very nicely at the moment attracting lots of bugs.

I considered a 180deg rotation but it didn't look right... besides, this was how the wasp was when I photographed it.

Love the wasp shots, I have to say, they are my favourites out of the insects. Their body "panels" look like armour. Extremely cool compared to a normal fat hairy one :D
 
Excellent set Ian... I personally try and keep the orientation true to what it was and in this case I think it was the right decision.

Wasp are such evil looking bugs....
