F1 Testing @ SIlverstone, 9th July 2014 - Drifting Caterham!!

Spent a few hours up at the wonderfully photogenic Silverstone last Wednesday for the F1 Testing. Not working, just for fun, as a paying punter (£30!!!). Anyway wanted to see/hear the current crop of machinery for myself. Have to say I'm not convinced. Cars don't sound bad at all, just in my opinion it's not "F1". Also they look ridiculous.

Anyway here's one shot which was reasonably interesting! Julian Leal's 140mph drift. Kept it out of the barriers... but did make the tyres look like 50p's after

...and I can still remember when we used to get into Brands for the pre-GP tyre test, that included the pits with Mansell, Senna, Prost the lot !
