Feathered Friends

Simon, both crisp and in focus (y), in the second one the bulk of the Canada is in shade, which is a shame, always worth thinking about your position in relation to the sun, get it behind you before you start shooting.

I like the first one, and wondered if the ducklings followed mum off the edge.

They did, I caught a series of about 6 or 7 shots but none quite had the impact of this one.

I know what you mean about the sun and in hindsight I could have set the shot up a bit better, but I was on the side of a lake so positions were limited as I saw it come in to land.
