These were wild finches in a car park at Kielder Forrest near the England/Scotland border. This is a combination of 2 different images, of 2 different birds, created last year from images I took about 6 years back when I first took up photography and had my 1st DSLR, a Canon 1000D.

Wow! This is great! I've always wanted to get a shot of me doing this.
 
This was hubby. I hadn't even got camera out as we were just eating our sandwiches. The birds (about 50) were taking turns swooping in and eating from hubby's fingers. I soon got my camera out!
 
I would never have said this is 2 shot merged together! Very well done.
D'you know, I didn;t even see this. I was so awe struck by the image. Great work.

Fantastic work Christine and your husband held his nerve too. I tried something similar but my wife lost her bottle as a Bluejay got close to her.
The stitch makes it look like there is an orderly queue forming for them to be fed, really lovely!
