Fell Race with D810

I gave my new 810 a try out on a sports event to see how it performed. I stuck a fixed 300m lens on the front of it and shot at f/7.1 between 1/800th & 1/1000th. Had a few where focus did not quite hit but that was operator error as I had the focus point at the bottom (on their calves) to give me a stronger comp but with only 6 inches DOF sometimes the face was out. The clarity is very very good and with that many pixels, lots of room for cropping.

Trusty D7000 for my fell pictures yesterday. Colours were fantastic. The last shot made me laugh. He really enjoyed the bogs!
