p.s.
do they look underexposed or is it my monitor at work? they looked fine when I edited them at home. cheers.

All pics are very good, no2 being my favourite.
As a fellow 5d2 owner, just curious what settings you were using for BIF.

cheers Simon. I'm surprised that exif is not intact:thinking:
anyway. after checking lighting conditions and making sure that my shutter speed won't go below 1/800 on f/6.3, I've used Av mode with aperture f/6.3, iso 400, spot metering and AF servo with center AF point plus assist.
Usually I'm shooting on Tv mode with shutter speed set on 1/800 or 1/1000 but sometimes my aperture drops below f/6.3 and below that my old 70-210mm USM is very soft, hence Av mode yesterday. In case of any questions there is a genius here on TP - Tdodd(y)

I'm glad you like #2. it was the most difficult photo to take as the bird was flying like thousand miles per hour, trying to catch a chicken swung by a guy training it. it really stretched the AF of my 5d mkII (and my panning technique) to the maximum:)
