lighting was difficult and the pictures are average at best but show some of the movement from the day at least... need to get used to shooting in low light and take my tripod but nevermind

thanks, yeah it is a real shame the feeling of sadness on base yesterday was apparent and the amount of people that turned out shows how many peoples lives it will probably affect depending on what they do with the base
 
Nice series! Wish I got to see this remarkable aircraft before its retirement.
 
yeah im glad i did just happened to be lucky enough to have a friend who gave me a ticket and invited me along to get ringside seats on the base... they have apparently been working on them today and have had one in the tie down pan but other than that it looks like they are going to be scrapped if they cant sell them
