after doing a bit of research and working with " no budget" i bought myself some extension tubes from ebay for £5, strapped it to the back of my nikon 80-200 f2.8 AF-D lens , made myself a "projector" out of cardboard to attach to my sb-800 for the flash light to be directed to the from of my lens . went off into the garden and snapped these.
im happy with the results but welcome any comments, suggections and critique (y)

Looks like your "no budget" gear worksa treat, I especially like #3 with lots of sharp detail.

My only critique is on #1 where the left wing is chopped off, and #5 where the focus os slightly behind the ladybird. Other than that, a great set.

Excellent results for a fiver, love no.3

nice pics for a £5 set up the second one is best for me

I agree, budget macro seems to have worked- lovely set

Good work :)

With practice you will get better at nailing the focus more often, but other than the slight miss on the ladybird you should be happy with those :)
