First communion shots

My son had his first communion recently and had to get suited and booted. His little sister joined in too. I put these together for the grandmas.

Thanks Kate, Jimc. I had a nice large window camera left and it was a bright day. Grannies were delighted - my kids don't often look this smart.

I like the first one better than the second (although they're both good), but I can't work out why. I think, that having two boys myself, I can imagine the change into smart clothes is more unusual and significant for the boy, I also like the way he is struggling with his tie. I do like the last one of the girl; I think it's her smile that does it.
