For some reason today there was lots of Dragons flying around Migrant Hawker and a few others that I have yet to ID or is impossible from what I captured.

Shot with 24-105 and a few with 1.4x TC

If you know any ID's let me know cheers. Best viewed on Flickr.

They are a little small in the frame Bryn to be honest mate, well done it getting them though- not as easy as it looks

No/s 3 & 4 look like the female common darter to me

Les

DIF - difficult - I've no idea how to get a good shot, I find them impossible, although some were posted a couple of weeks ago ………… maybe by an Italian guy

We all need to keep trying Bryn, but they just don't co-operate - one area were birds are easier

IDs are correct.

The Migrant Hawker will hover for several seconds at a time over a regular spot, so if you watch for a while you'll soon pick up ontheir behaviour. I've posted many shots of Migrant Hawkers in flight if you fancy a look.

Thanks Mark... want to point me to your website/flickr/other site?

Cheers Clive and Les and Bill.

105 and 1.4X TC wasn't enough time to get the Tamron 150-600 mm lol

You have the Tamron 150-600m???

I was thinking of getting one and selling the Sigma 150-500m

Les ;)
