It's a bit quiet in here at this time of year, so thought I'd post up some photos from my last event of the year - the final round of the Time Attack Championship at Brands Hatch.
As a bonus, they also held a round in darkness, which was an interesting experience in the wet and windy conditions!
Pics hosted from FB:
1. There was a bit of daylight for the start of the session.
2. It wasn't long before it was completely dark (circuit is unlit!). Mosler going down Paddock Hill Bend.
3. ISO 10 Million and still the image is dark
4. Too windy and wet for tripod shots of light trails, so tried some shorter exposure ones from the pit wall.
If I ever do a night time event again, I'll bring a bright torch to see where I'm standing, warm hat, flask of hot tea etc.
A couple of daytime shots:
5. Charlie Shaw's 1,000bhp Focus coming up towards Druids
6. Yellow Impreza known as the banana at 1/40th (not super sharp, but good for me as I struggle with anything less than 1/00th!)
