Flash card problem

Mmm uploaded my pics the other day as per usual and then deleted them off the card but its not gone back to the 2oo odd RAW shots I normally get off a 4gb card,its still showing only 59 shots remaining...have formatted the card and its still showing only 59 available,any ideas..the images are no longer on the camera so have been deleted.

Try formatting it in the computer and then re-formatting it in-camera...
If it's still not playing, buy a new one.

Just the one camera, right? Sometimes I used to get odd image counts if I put a card back in a different body, so I now have my cards numbered and allocated to each of my camera bodies...

Will do and yeah it was just the one camera used..

Be careful with this card. I had a similar experience several years ago and nothing could change the number of images available. It appears that there may be a problem with the controller within the card not being able to address all the memory.

Mine got dumped fairly quickly.

Send it back most branded cards have a lifetime warranty!

Its a sandisk extreme 3 and not that old..first card I have ever had probs with..
