A shot that I am sure thousands of people have taken, but it was my first time up the tower of the Palazzo Vecchio

And a view of the sunset over the Arno

I've a dozen different version of the sunset shot, each processed differently. This one is my current fave though. Both shots taken with a Fuji X-E1 and 14mm lens.

How was florence? I've never been

Florence is a bit chaotic. Very full of tourists and as all attractions are close together this can be overwhelming. But it is beautiful and the locals are much more welcoming of tourists now than they used to be. I guess the economic situation there means they have to be!
