All taken with 7D+300mmf4+25ext tube, AF Servo Expansion, Auto ISO selection 1/1000. Thanks for looking.

Great shots there Mark, One word of advice though. Dont let any of the lads and ladies from the exbury meet see these or there may be jealousy a plenty. There were 8-9 of us trying to get a pic of one of these and only 1 of us succeeded as far as i know.

Thanks Nigel(y)

Thanks Gareth, although looking at the posted shots from Exbury meet suggests they haven't got much to be jealous about!

Wow, getting in flight macro shots is about as tough as it gets, the first two are corkers and the third is just showing off

Good in-flight shots, especially the Downy Emerald shot - they are so fast and very difficult to get in-flights of.

Superb set, I had a go yesterday briefly and not the easiest things to catch in flight. ;)

Fantastic shots, I find it hard enough capturing birds in flight never mind insects. No 3 is unbelievable.

spot on- wish I could get shots like those

ah well back to practising :bang:

Les

Thanks everyone, its a frustrating challenge but one that is rewarding at the end.
